Straight answers about OhWait.
These answers reflect the current OhWait 2.0 product model. Check the App Store for the latest pricing, availability, and system requirements.
01Is OhWait a to-do list or a habit tracker?
OhWait is a general-purpose to-do and event manager. It handles one-off items, fixed repeats, schedules based on the day you finish, and reusable routines. Streaks and completion rates come from your actual history, but you do not have to create a separate habit first.
02What is a routine in OhWait?
A routine is a reusable set of defaults: a title, checklist steps, and an optional repeat rule. Save trip packing, leaving home, a gym bag, a doctor visit, or periodic maintenance once. Start a new to-do from it whenever you need it; the original routine stays ready.
03How does OhWait schedule the next occurrence?
A to-do can repeat on a calendar rule, such as daily, weekly, or monthly. It can also count forward from the day you actually finish. Fixed rules work well for appointments. Completion-based rules fit bedding, filters, and other maintenance that should follow real life.
04Does every completed to-do create another one?
No. A one-off to-do ends when you complete it. Only items with a repeat rule continue. If an item came from a routine, the routine remains available without automatically creating another to-do.
05Can I move, skip, or defer one occurrence?
Yes. OhWait keeps completions, skips, misses, and deferrals distinct. You can adjust only the next occurrence or change the repeating plan without rebuilding the whole to-do.
06Does OhWait keep a history?
Yes. You can review recent completions, skips, misses, completion rate, streaks, and common intervals. That history also gives you useful context when you schedule the next occurrence.
07Can I see or complete to-dos without opening OhWait?
Yes. OhWait can surface to-dos in Home Screen widgets, Live Activities, notifications, and system controls. Those surfaces use the same underlying to-do state rather than keeping separate copies.
08How is OhWait different from a calendar or reminder app?
Calendars are good at placing time on a grid. Reminders are good at getting your attention. OhWait also keeps checklist steps, repeat relationships, actual completion dates, skips, adjustments, and reusable routines, so this occurrence stays connected to the next one.
09Is OhWait free?
OhWait is free to download from the App Store. Some advanced features require a subscription or purchase. Plans, trials, and prices can vary by region and over time, so check the App Store and the app for current details.
10Which devices does OhWait support?
OhWait is currently available for iPhone and iPad. Check its App Store page for the latest minimum system version, device compatibility, and regional availability.
